Talks now available for download via the link to the left.

We are back at Hothorpe Hall in Leciestershire for our Parish weekend away this year, for a special time together, with great teaching and inspiring worship and experience God in a new way.

The Dates: Friday 30th April to Sunday 2nd May 2010. Arrive from 5pm on Friday, stay until 4pm on Sunday.

The Speakers: We are delighted to welcome John and Anne Coles as our main speakers on Friday and Saturday. John is Director of New Wine, overseeing the New Wine Network. Anne is the ministry pastor at St Barnabas, and has overall responsibility for developing New Wine’s women’s conferences. There will also be acivities for children and young people.

The Worship: We are also delighted to have Andy Woodman from Soul Survivor Watford leading us in worship at the weekend. Many of you will know Andy and his wife Jo, who both grew up at All Saints, and who moved to Watford a few years ago after ministry training with Hillsong in Sydney, Australia.

The Venue: Hothorpe Hall, Leciestershire, a lovely peaceful rural location with stunning views, the ideal place to unwind. 52 superb en suite bedrooms all with TV’s, 5 excellent chefs producing a delicious range of menus using fresh local produce. Tennis, basket ball and football can all be played on the multi use games area and inside there is pool and table tennis available. 12 acres of lovely gardens to relax and enjoy. Complimentary wireless broadband.

Full information here, and to book your space please fill out this form and return to the office.

The good news - lower prices than 2008!

Adult (18+) £90

Child (High school: 11-18) £45

(Primary School: 4-11) £30

(Pre-school: 0-4) Free

The cost includes en-suite accommodation, all meals, and all weekend activities. Although Hothorpe Hall’s charges have risen slightly, we have set the prices for this year’s Parish Weekend lower than in 2008, and simplified the pricing structure, to encourage as many as possible to attend. In particular, thanks to an extremely generous donation, we have been able to make the child rate very low, so that families are more easily able to afford to come. Also, you only pay for your oldest two children - any further children are free. We really want to encourage families to come! If you would like to make a donation to a bursary fund to assist others, please indicate on the booking form. If you need to take advantage of the bursary fund (for full or part fees) - and please don’t be embarrassed to ask, that’s what it’s there for - please speak to David in complete confidence, and he will sort it out for you.
